The prayer shawl ministry is made up of a team of people who wish to extend a tangible reminder of God’s grace to someone going through a difficult time – often grief or illness.
The heart of the prayer shawl ministry is prayer, as God directs every aspect of the making and receiving of the shawl or lap afghan. We meet together to knit or crochet every week and welcome anyone who would like to join us.
