Mission of the month - HAnds on haiti
Michigan Hands on Haiti has been supported by the members of Cross of Christ since 2018, and we are grateful for the continued support. At this time, mission trips are on hold, until the country's political and gang problems are stabilized.
We have added 3 new children from another orphanage that was located in the middle of the gang violence, with the possibilities of having to help more, if even temporarily. Currently, the children are unable to attend class and are confined to the grounds of the Children's Center. Pastor Mario goes between his home, church and the Center when it is safe to do so. Food and fuel prices have skyrocketed under the current circumstances.
At this time, what is needed the most is money. We can't bring or ship items into the country, leaving all work to be done internally. Please pray for the continued safety of Pastor Mario, his family, congregation and the children. Thank you for your continued love and support.
