See Beyond is a Christian non-profit organization founded by Jhansi Kanchumarthi, a longtime member of Cross of Christ. Its mission is to “Encourage, Energize, and Empower” Indian families through Christian and community activities.
The work of See Beyond is carried out primarily in Telugu-speaking villages of South India, where Jhansi and a network of Christian missionaries walk alongside individuals and families in crisis. Together, they provide support that is often difficult to find spiritually, mentally, socially, and financially; bringing hope and healing in Jesus’ name. Spiritually, the ministry reaches children, youth, and families through gospel meetings, vacation Bible schools, retreats, and biannual family camps. Mentally and emotionally, See Beyond offers counseling, encouragement, and empowerment to strengthen families. Socially, they provide group sessions for young girls and boys, along with sanitation training and health education. Financially, the ministry helps those in need through tuition assistance, food, and medical supplies. Community gatherings are also an important part of their work, creating unity and building relationships within the villages.
Despite challenges posed by government restrictions that make it difficult for Christian churches and evangelism to flourish, See Beyond continues to trust in God’s guidance and leadership.
Pray that God would give them a powerful influence in the communities they serve, opening hearts to receive the Gospel, granting good health and protection from persecution, and providing continued strength and wisdom for all who serve. We also thank God for the devotion and passion He has given to Jhansi as she shares the love of Christ with people in her native country, and we thank Cross of Christ for the continuous support and prayers that have strengthened this ministry throughout the years.
